Celebrate Highwood is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity managed and operated by volunteers. Our mission is to bring community together with a common goal to raise funds for local and national charities while celebrating Highwood as THE destination to live, eat, work and play.
It’s people like you who help keep our events fun and entertaining for the whole family and help us accomplish our fund raising goals. In the last year, with your help, we raised $500 for Spectrum, a local high school LGBTQ organization, $5,000 for the Highland Park-Highwood Legal Aid Clinic, $60,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois and $5,500 for the scholarship fund at Midwest Young Artists Conservatory located in Fort Sheridan. With your help, imagine what we can accomplish this year!
If you are volunteering for Community Service, School Requirements or Business Community Outreach, we will provide you a letter with your hours of volunteer service upon request.

Help us bring the fall colors to life! We'll need hands to take the mums off the racks, arrange them on the lawn, and give them their first watering.

Pumpkin Fest Bartenders

Pour drinks and keep the fun flowing! No bartending experience required, must be 21+.

Be the friendly face of Pumpkin Fest! Help answer questions, point folks in the right direction, and share the schedule of activities. Great for Highwood locals who know the Fest inside and out.

Pumpkin Movers
October 2-4 (multiple times)
This shift is for the adventurous ones! You'll climb scaffolding, toss and arrange pumpkins, and help light them up. Ideal for rock climbers or anyone not afraid of heights.
Must be physically able to climb and lift 30 Ibs, wear close-toed shoes, and be 18+ (or accompanied by a consenting adult)
